Here is something I have seen on several friends blogs lately. It looks fun.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory (or more) that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing (but you don't have to) and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

It was Rich and my anniversary, and we were broke. You out of the blue called up and offered to watch the kids, and then gave us a gift certificate so we could have an evening out. When we came back to pick up the kids, you had even made us a gorgeous cake! On another occasion, it was a few years ago, when everyone else had forgotten my birthday, you showed up at my door with my favorite piece of pie. I will never forget. Thanks for being such a great friend.
I do remember when you asked me if I was prego and I was trying so hard to keep it a secret even though I felt like crap! I also remember when we had barely moved in and you brought us cookies and made sure I had a chance to meet everyone-thank you because it is always hard to move to a new place. I also remember working at the reception cxenter and we were always so oppinionated with the decorations-Good Times!:)
Here are some...
Home teaching visits, always and adventure
Hunting with Scott
Moving to get Scott out of the bishopric j/k
loading your food storage... wish I could say I had that much
Playing with Taylor and Carter
Giving Taylor his rope, I think he liked it
There are many more. You were terrific neighbors and are great friends.
You are a very thoughtful person. Always providing service for others. I remember hanging out on Spring Lane watching the kids play and having some good talks. Your peach pie. Our walks in the morning....in the rain....man, you can walk fast. Coming to see me in the hospital. Hanging out at your house while Carter and Taylor slept and you were at the hospital having Carly. Lots of memories!
Love ya!
Where do I begin??? How about the beginning.... You talked to me at church, and I think you may have sat next to me in RS. Later, you stopped to talk to me as your family was out for a walk. I went home thinking, "Wow, she is so nice. I hope we can be friends." YOU went home thinking, "Man, what a snot!" Fast forward a few months and you invited me over to your house with Kristin Baer. I had so much fun but felt a lot out of the loop, still I hoped so much to be friends with you both. Fast forward to February.... the kids were out playing in the big pile of snow left by the plow. You and I stood and talked and you were telling me about the jobs Scott was looking into, in Boston. I pushed snow with my tennis shoe and fought back tears. I remember having the conversation about who would be the new RS pres and having no clue. Then having the conversation again a couple weeks later and hoping that you wouldn't notice my discomfort. I remember getting up and running and I would wear a hoodie and you would wear short sleeves and capris! Mostly I remember watching you drive away in your white van, knowing I wouldn't see you again for a LONG time. But, I try not to remember that too much, because it always makes me cry.
Just for the record I didn't go home and think you were a snot. And I also try not to think about driving away from your house!
I remember coming over to your apartment and eating cinnamon rolls with you (they were SOOOOO good,) and playing a game-- Carcassone, I think. Also, I remember lots of swimming at your apartment complex. :)
I love our visits on the phone. I need to call you more often, but I love to visit with you when you call. I love having someone to relate to and call with questions about my kids. You are a great mom!
One of my favorite memories was when you stayed at our apartment when we were first married with your boys. When we made breakfast in the morning we got talking about different things we have for breakfast and you actually knew what ebelskeivers were and liked them.
I'm glad your my sister-in-law.
