The last few weeks I have been feeling bad for my children because we are not doing anything fun this summer. We just sit around in the air conditioned house and wait for the baby. So, the other night for Family Night we went to Chuck E. Cheese and let the kids play games. They had a blast. Any and all suggestions for our summer "staycation" are welcome. When the boys go to school and the teacher asks what they did over the summer I'd like them to be able to say more than just, "we watched Cyberchase on PBS."
Here is Taylor saving the world by blasting asteroids.
Carter playing skee ball.
Carly in a car ride.
Counting their many tickets.

Well, there is always story time at the library, or build forts and have your own adventure. But your kids are more creative than mine, so I wish you luck. Whats the countdown? And I better be on your list of phone calls!! Talk to you soon.
Don't worry! Just the fact that they don't have school and Taylor's home to play all day with them. Kids are great that way. It sounds like your having fun anyway. Be greatful for your air-conditioning! We don't have it and it is HOT:) Take care and good luck with everything.
I can't belive how big your kids are getting! WOW! I say set them loose in the back yard with a hose thats what my mom did! Can't wait to see this new little one!
Well, we are family reunioning this year, but I would much rather staycation! Here is our summer schedule if it's helpful: Monday-Library day; Tuesday: Park day- a new park each week; Wednesday- have a friend over day; Thursday- Field trip (I'm not really good at this, but we do Pepperidge Farm, creamies, Gossner's, Zoo, Free movie, etc. anything free and on the bus routes!) Friday: Pizza movie day, of course! Love your guts! And yes, I have a blog, and no, you can't see it because I can't figure it out yet, I mostly wanted to be able to leave comments! Ha!
